NFTs contain proof of many file formats such as images, audio, short video and documents. Because these files are difficult and costly to store on the blockchain, they are stored on a distributed file storage protocol called IPFS. The uploaded files are encrypted and divided into small parts and shared to the drops on IPFS. The proof that the relevant file has been uploaded to IPFS is recorded on the blockchain with NFT.
